Very Good

The people were very friendly and the location was great to. It is close to a shopping street and multiple Conbinis are close by. I additionally liked the free availability of Mangas!

My laundry was not really dry after the drying of the washing machine and there was not realy room to put it.

Wonderful

Good location. 5 min walk from Kawaramachi station and easy to find. Every line on the Kotoden network goes there. Its only 2 stops from JR Takamatsu and the main bus station. Its also an airport bus stop. The room was good, bed was comfortable. There is a water stand and ice in the kitchen on the top floor. The buffet breakfast is amazing.

The little fridge was not cold enough and couldn't be adjusted. The bathroom is a weird design. When you open the door the entrance is blocked by the toilet. You have to squeeze past to get to the basin and shower.

Lockers, check! secure baggage storage, check! clean sleeping space, check! Almost perfectly clean. Like a capsule hotel with the bonus of bountiful common space downstairs, and kitchen facilities close yet separated from the sleeping space. Nice and quiet! (except for some snoring of course...)

Some shower stalls had pink mold.

Comfy one night stop over

Room was small but very clean and had all we needed. Really great breakfast.

Toilet was very close to the wall in front - not enough room for anyone with long legs.

Clinical and great to feel so cosy but souless.

This place is very clean and very convienient. It is a kind of hybrid between a hotel and a hostel. I stayed in a capsule bed in floor 10 a mixed dorm but that is pretty irrelevant because I did not really see anyone. Showers are perfect, toilets perfect - everything you could want for living a comfortable solitary existence. However, the atmosphere is clinical as commensurate with the environment. It has sacrificed something for efficiency and that something is interaction with strangers. Everyone is in their own capsule cell and after a while it seems inconceivable that you could start a conversation with anyone.

I was like a wasp in a pretty empty cell in a wasp's nest. THere is no communal area except the kitchen. If you are a smoker you might make friends because there is a smoking room off the kitchen. Also I only had accesss to floor 10 so I can only speculate about what is on the other floors. It gets a bit annoying having to use your card all the time to get trhough doors.

Overall good

Good place for solo traveller's. I would stay there again. Happy they catered for cyclists.

I think kitchen area bit small . Only really catered for 1 person given the single table. I think 2 smaller tables would be better. Or the main dining area could be better utilized after breakfast hours.

This is a pretty good get for the price you're paying. The bed is comfartable, the shower felt clean and with a good pressure. The Hotel isn't too far from the station, about a 20 min walk.

The breakfast was hit or miss and somewhat overpriced.

located in the busiest area in Takamatsu area with great access to foods shopping and drinks breakfast option is impressive yet the taste was not as good as the variety Taiwanese Staff were very kind and helpful

The room is a lot smaller than it shows on the photo. no chance to open 2x 30 inch luggage at the same time unless you put one of them on your bed.

Wonderful

Webase was my… base camp for the Setouchi Trienale and it was a great stay. I was apprehensive of hostels as I haven’t had an experience in a long time but this isn't the crowd of loud teens you might encounter in western countries so everybody is pretty quiet and I never felt bothered during my stay. The beds were more spacious and comfortable than I expected anf I slept soundly for three nights. The place is roughly 20-25mn from the port by foot which makes it convenient and not too tiresome to go back and forth to visit islands. It's also quite convenient to eat good restaurants and bars within 10-15mn of walk. Staff was friendly and of great help when I forgot my code or needed them to pick up my laundry.

Convenient place of stay if you like to walk

Comfortable bed. Clean and convenient room. Good coffee (capsule coffee machine in the room). Easy access to convenient stores and shopping streets with restaurants. Walking distance from Takamatsu station and port. Walking distance from Ritsurin Park.

About 15mins walk from Takamatsu station and port even walking fast. Not bad, just be prepared. There is a bus stop nearby though.

No lift from the ground floor for easy access. Got to take an elevator to the lobby floor. Tricky if have big luggage.

Wonderful

Not too far from the station. Every bed has 2 hangers and is equipped storage area. There is a double door to get to the kitchen, vending machine and washing machine + drier, which reduces the noise from outside. The fridge was equipped with pen+paper+tape in case you need to leave your food or drinks. The staff was very kind when asked for information about the area around.

The smoking room is through the kitchen, and despite the good ventilation system you could smell the smoke every time that door is opened while you're eating in the kitchen. Also, besides not being able to get in through the double door without the card, you also cannot get out - it makes you not forget the card, but it's also a bit annoying when your hands are full of toiletries.
